"...director Michael Michetti makes sharp use of Jason H. Thompson's space-spanning videos, Rob Oriol's ominous sound and Steven Young's spectacular lighting." - LA Times
"Come ready for a nonstop sensory experience. The play, brings you into the doomed space and leaves you there, as it is performed without intermission, and Rob Oriol's sound design sits you right next to Gertrude, war and all." - San Gabriel Valley Tribune
"Oriol's aural background pulled me in as soon as I sat down. I was tempted to look up to see the airplanes that were surely whizzing overhead, as I pondered how many people it took to make the army marching turned concert crowd soundscapes" - Annenberg Digital News.
